Who is Tayyar Şahin?

Tayyar Şahin was born on 10 April 1988 in Kayseri. He entered business life in the family enterprise at an early age and today works as a manager in the family companies.

He completed his education in the Environmental Engineering department of Erciyes University's Faculty of Engineering. Alongside environmental engineering, he is active as a manufacturer in the furniture and cable production sectors. He is married and a father of two.

He met politics at a young age. He served at every level of the AK Party Youth Branches; he chaired the AK Party Kocasinan Youth Branch and became the first AK Party University (ÜNİAK) Chair of Kayseri.

He then took on roles at various levels of the organization, serving as a member of the Kocasinan District Executive Board and as Kocasinan Deputy District Chairman. After a full political career, he was appointed AK Party Melikgazi District Chairman on 18 December 2023 and continues in this role.
